What is the TX Premier League?

The TX Premier League is a weekday (Monday - Friday) league for Select/All-Star/Tournament/Elite baseball and fastpitch teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth and West Texas area.    We offer the following age divisions: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U.   All games are hosted at the Protect The Plate complex, beginning Fall 2026.

What teams are eligible to play in the TX Premier League?

Any team registered with USSSA Baseball or NCS Fastpitch for the 2026-2027 season can apply to participate in the TX Premier League.

What seasons will the TX Premier League offer?

We will offer both Fall (2026) and Spring/Summer (2027) leagues.   Interested teams can apply for either or both.

How does a team qualify for the TX Premier League?

The TX Premier League expects all accepted teams to positively represent their organizations and demonstrate good sportsmanship - while they are participating in the TX Premier League as well as non-league games and events.   We believe that each team accepted into the League is representing their organization but also the League, wherever they play. 
 

Our staff will evaluate each team application based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, coach's experience, team history, previous incident reports and more.

Can a player register to join a team
in the TX Premier League?

We are only accepting team applications for this League.     A player may tryout for the Protect The Plate Select team by clicking HERE!  (link to player tryout information)

What rules will be used for the TX Premier League?

Baseball:   USSSA Baseball w/ League modifications (link to baseball rules page)

Fastpitch: NCS Fastpitch w/ League modifications (link to fastpitch rules page)

What does TX Premier League registration fees include?

Each team is scheduled for a 16 game season, plus playoffs.   League fees include all game fields, balls, umpires and one indoor cage rental per week.   Teams also get PTP Member pricing on all additional cage time, field rentals and more!
 

The registration fees also include our Future Stars weekend, the combination of All-Star Game festivities with skills competitions and scouting showcase.
